When you meet someone who has true, grounded confidence, you may notice they don’t need to pump themselves up or give themselves constant pep talks about how great they are. Instead, that confidence might sound more like a flat rundown of accomplishments. “I did these ten things and then later I did these 20 other things which led to me creating the vision for this one overarching thing I’m doing now.”
To you, all those things might sound incredibly amazing. But once you’ve internalized that “yes, I am that person with this particular track record of wins,” your accomplishments become simply part of the story of you. So when you tell people about yourself, you can simply rattle through these things without having to hold for applause. Your badassery is not up for debate or validation. It simply is.
