Stay out of mentee mode!

There’s a good and a bad way to wield curiosity if you want to get promoted. A lot of women I coach make the mistake of diving in too soon, asking too many questions and coming across as needy. Don’t ask questions just for the sake of asking questions or position yourself as a mentee who needs guidance at every step. Ask questions, but stay in your power. Know why you’re asking what you’re asking, and remember that you’re already a badass with valued skills.
