While you practice that feeling of belonging by requesting and going on 15-Minute Ally Meetings, it’s important to still acknowledge that corporate hierarchies exist. Corporate culture is built on them! The whole corporate paradigm exists to make us feel like we *don’t* belong, or are somehow “less than.” However! You can both acknowledge this reality and also accept that you still belong, and that your organization needs your leadership. Keep that hierarchy in your peripheral vision, but keep moving forward.
