Get to know the colleagues you thought you knew!
If you’ve been in your position a while but you never did the “first 90 days” exercise, do it now! It’s not too late to look at your situation with fresh eyes. Is it weird to “assimilate” to an organization that you already know? Not if you haven’t done it before! Remember, the initial chats in the “first” 30 days aren’t about you talking. They’re about you listening. Reconnect with your colleagues, or maybe even connect for the first time. You didn’t necessarily “miss the boat” when you started, because the boat is more like a ferry, and you can just take the next one. Hop on board!
