Staying small helps no one

In those moments when you decide not to go for that promotion, or that it won’t matter either way, you are living in unworthiness. You’ve decided that your pursuit of greatness doesn’t matter. Please allow me to disagree. Your promotion does matter. And it doesn’t just matter to you. It matters for all the work you could be doing that affects and inspires other people. Yes, going big is usually pretty uncomfortable. It can bring up feelings of doubt and anxiety and fear or unsteadiness. Of course, you could stay right where you are plugging away at your current position and be happy with the chronic mild unease that comes with that, but why? It’s because you think you’re not worth it. I am here to tell you that you are.
