Once you’ve taken a pause, the second step in moving from “I’m done” to “I have options” is to widen your perspective. Try to take on someone else’s point of view. Do things have to unfold exactly as you want them to for this injustice to clear? Or could there be another path? Is there a way you can “get over it” and accommodate someone else’s needs but still move forward? The pause from step 1 gives you a chance to re-frame things in step 2 so you can gain momentum in step 3.
